How To Become Mentally Strong

According to Clinical Psychologist Jordan B. Peterson, the way to become mentally healthy and strong is to have a daily routine. Even if you don’t have a job or work to do you need a routine and stick to it. This might even be as simple as something like brushing your teeth EVERY SINGLE DAY. Mental strength starts with small things. If you are vulnerable to emotional events, you can’t expect yourself to be as strong as a marine soldier. This will take time and hell of a DISCIPLINE.

Now let’s write the things you might wanna consider to apply to possess a healthy mindset :
  1. Discipline: Like the things I said before, this discipline will take time and consistency to be built . For example you must make your bed every morning without procrastinating. When you can’t even make your bed when you are not strong enough to show the strength to do it, how can you expect yourself to be strong mentally? This is almost impossible without positive trauma. Thus, I do not recommend experiencing trauma since it is usually a negative experience.
  2. Exercise: Our ancestors said, the strong brain is in strong body. Don’t listen to the people that say exercise helps with nothing. It helps a lot. I can tell this from my experiments on myself. The time I started antidepressants I saw that without exercise, those medications do nothing at all. So you should consider exercising. Start small with that as well. Increase the intensity gradually.
  3. Socialize: Social situations might be overwhelming for sensitive people but you need to feel that anxiety to overcome it. Anxiety is a dragon cub at first. But if you keep running away from it and let it grow up, you will have a hard time dealing with it later. Kill the dragon while it is still a little creature.
  4. You need a job: Self-employment, or a regular job, it doesn’t make any difference. You need an occupation. You need to occupy yourself and if you don’t, anxiety, depression, and obsession will do it for you. Your brain was not evolved to be vacant. It will find something to be busy about. So you choose the business.
